Radiochemistry Division


Our Division is a meeting place and connection platform for anyone working with radioisotopes in Australia and beyond. Our student, academic, government and industry members engage in a broad range of roles and positions having diverse career paths.


 

Our purpose

 

Our Radiochemistry Division was created to:

  • Promote the unique value and use of radiochemistry and radioanalytical techniques in providing modern real-world solutions and opportunities across all areas of chemistry and scientific endeavours
  • Provide networking opportunities and support for scientists working in the radiochemistry field, throughout all stages of their career
  • Assist our members with career and personal development opportunities
  • Improve the public perception and understanding of radioactivity to include both the risk and benefits

 

 

Regular Events 

 

Our Radiochemistry Division is very active in holding regular events. Highlights include:

  • RACI/SPERA Workshop
  • Expert lectures and hands-on training radiochemistry techniques
  • Divisional dinners and mixers


Upcoming non-RACI event: The Centre for Ecology and Hydrology in the UK will be conducting an online Radiological Environment Protection course for the Australasian region from 9 - 27 November.
